Entry Level Software Engineer

Cox Automotive is seeking an Entry Level Software Engineer to help build scalable applications that power leading automotive brands. In this role, you'll design, code, test, and debug JavaScript/Java-based services and web applications, working closely with senior engineers, product managers, and QA. You'll participate in code reviews, follow Agile practices, and help maintain clean, secure, and well-documented code. This is a growth-focused role with mentorship, exposure to cloud technologies, and opportunities to work on impactful products used by dealers and consumers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web and backend services for automotive applications
• Write clean, testable code and unit tests using modern frameworks and tools
• Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and QA in an Agile environment
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering best practices
• Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Document technical designs, APIs, and implementation details
• Support deployment and monitoring of applications in cloud environments
