Logistics Specialist

Pay Range: $33 - $38/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and develop logistics plans affecting production, distribution, and inventory.
• Create and review distribution and inventory management procedures.
• Maximize customer satisfaction while minimizing costs.
• Coordinate shipments and support global logistics operations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for international transportation.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 0-2 years of related experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain.
• Associate degree or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation modes: Ocean (LCL, FCL), Air, Road, Rail.
• Experience with hazardous materials shipping compliance: IATA, IMDG, DOT, U.S. export regulations, and country-specific import/export requirements.
• Proficiency in preparing international shipping documents: Commercial/customs invoices, Packing lists, Certificates of Origin, Free Trade Agreement documentation, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Analysis, Export documentation, and Shipper's Letters of Instruction (SLI).
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work with urgency.
• Comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
• Strong accountability and responsiveness.
• Decision-making skills in uncertain situations.
