The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment, such as hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks within the intermodal yard. • Drive hostlers to precisely position containers and chassis. • Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Coordinate container moves and tasks with yard personnel and supervisors. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols. What You'll Need • A valid driver’s license is mandatory. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team. • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders/stairs on railcars. • Open availability for the specified shift.
