The Role

• Assist senior personnel in the design, development, and evaluation of marine vessel operations.
• Support reviews of third-party design modifications and improvements for mechanical systems.
• Conduct naval architecture analyses and stability assessments for vessels.
• Contribute to the design of hulls and superstructures to meet specifications and safety standards.
• Assist in overseeing prototype construction and testing in model basins.
• Evaluate craft performance during trials to inform design changes.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture or Ocean Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a High School diploma with 13+ years of relevant experience.
• At least 2+ years of progressive experience in ship structural analysis on Navy or Coast Guard vessels.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint.
