Workplace Health & Safety Coordinator, London - Contract

Initial 6 months | £300-£350 per day | Inside IR35/Umbrella

A global technology company is looking for a Workplace Health & Safety Coordinator to support its London office, with a particular focus on employee wellbeing, ergonomics, DSE and workplace risk management.

This is a hands-on role for someone with workplace Health & Safety experience who is comfortable supporting employees directly, completing assessments, maintaining H&S documentation and working with internal teams and external workplace partners.
There are global offices which you will support, and happy to have a flexible working times to suit.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out DSE assessments and provide guidance on safe Workstation setup.
• Complete ergonomic assessments, identifying adjustments to improve employee comfort and reduce workplace injury risks.
• Review workplace Health & Safety risk assessments and ensure documentation remains accurate and up to date.
• Support wider workplace H&S processes, procedures and compliance activities.
• Respond to employee workplace and H&S queries through the internal ticketing system.
• Liaise with global workplace teams and external partners on ergonomic, safety and workplace matters.
• Identify potential workplace risks and ensure appropriate actions are followed through.
• Maintain records relating to DSE, ergonomics, risk assessments and Health & Safety activity.

Requirements

• Previous Workplace Health & Safety experience.
• Good knowledge of DSE requirements and Workstation assessments.
• Experience carrying out ergonomic assessments.
• Experience completing or reviewing workplace risk assessments.
• Comfortable working directly with employees and responding to workplace support tickets.
• Strong organisation, communication and attention to detail.
• Formal Health & Safety training or relevant qualification would be beneficial.
