Assystem prepares to acquire L&T Infrastructure Engineering

Role and Responsibilities

Develop architectural design deliverables for Metro Rail project across all stage – may start from concept stage (in CAD , Revit as applicable based on project & stage requirement). Provide all required assistance to senior architect / project team on design deliverables. Timely completion of deliverables (of required quality) is essential.

• · Concept stage – Site / master plan , zoning , BUA area formulation , massing models , presentations, Preparing Inception reports , design basis report as applicable
• · Schematic Design
• · Detailed Design
• · Good for construction – including details , miscellaneous details
• · Review of Shop drawings ,
• · Attending RFIs (Request for Information) from site
• · Site visits and assistance for client meetings as required
• · Interdisciplinary coordination

Effective coordination with other disciplines (Structural design, MEP services , QS , other expertise) for timely resolution for optimal & coordinated design deliverables.

• · Preparation of Technical documentation – Preparing drawings in CAD , Revit modeling as applicable to project ,as per guidance of senior team members . CAD , BIM standards , protocols for file saving paths etc. as per project requirement to be followed
• · Professional development & Knowledge transfer – Continued enhancement of knowledge base w r t new materials , detailing , construction methodology , contemporary / innovative design strategies – planning of spaces , façade design , keeping updated on notable contemporary projects in India & abroad.

Knowledge transfer to new members of team – mentoring new team members w r t ongoing projects , CAD/ BIM standards. Updating CAD / BIM skills , new technologies

Educational Requirements:

• · Bachelor's degree or Masters in Architecture is mandatory.

Professional Experience:

• · 2 to 7 years (min. 2 years experience) in DDC Detailed design consultants for Metro rail or architectural consultancy firms. Experience in commercial , Industrial , transport infrastructure projects , Institutional projects (educational & Healthcare) is preferable. However other sector experience , may apply & based on interview maybe considered.
• · Creative skills , ability to effectively communicate design ideas in sketches / 3D massing / schematics / words , Problem solving approach , Inter disciplinary coordination , effective communication skills – both spoken & written

Technical Proficiencies:

• · Proficiency in industry-standard software including Revit, AutoCAD, ACC ,Navisworks, or equivalent BIM platforms
• · 3D massing / concept generation – Sketch Up ,Enscape , any other graphics software for effective & impressive presentations
• · MS office – Power Point , Excel , Word
• · Should be good at preparing presentations
