Technical Writer | Jamul, CA, United States | Hybrid | $55,300.00 - $126,000.00

The Role
• Develop, revise, and manage highly regulated military training documentation for Navy programs.
• Translate complex technical specifications into standardized Navy instructional materials and strategic plans.
• Ensure communication facilitates program goals, quality standards, and effective Sailor training.
• Author and edit DoD and DoN training documentation for Navy systems and C4I capabilities.
• Update program training materials, media, and curriculum supporting documentation.
• Distill complex engineering data into clear, concise instructions for various audiences.
What You'll Need
• Experience developing and editing Navy technical manuals for Fleet Systems.
• Familiarity with military communications equipment.
• Knowledge of Navy training policy (e.g., OPNAVINST 1500.76 series, NAVEDTRA 130 series).
• Experience with Navy manpower and training databases (e.g., HARPS, CMATT).
• Ability to update training materials and products within the Integrated Learning Environment (ILE).
• A Secret security clearance and a Bachelor's degree in business or communications.
