Senior Process Automation Engineer | Cottage Grove, MN, United States | Hybrid We're hiring on behalf of a globally recognized leader in engineering solutions, renowned for its innovation and long-standing presence in diverse industries like food, beverage, and pharmaceuticals. The Role • Design, develop, test, and commission industrial process automation systems for service project upgrades. • Act as a technical lead on projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams across various industries. • Support sales efforts by providing technical expertise, cost estimations, and proposal development. • Develop detailed functional descriptions and design automation software using industrial control platforms. • Coordinate with electrical designers and ensure compliance with company standards and quality requirements. • Commission instrumentation, electrical, and control systems at customer sites, including I/O checkout and troubleshooting. What You'll Need • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field. • Typically, 5+ years of experience in a similar automation engineering role. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software tools; experience with Rockwell Automation is preferred. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and leadership abilities. • High level of organization, attention to detail, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
