In this role, you’ll develop and drive high-volume RF module testing at manufacturing partner sites, from New Product Introduction (NPI) through mass production. You’ll work with module manufacturers, fixture suppliers and test equipment vendors to deliver test solutions that are reliable, scalable and efficient. The right candidate combines strong RF engineering skills, hands-on automated test equipment experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement wireless module test solutions for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, UWB, GPS, Cellular and NFC, from NPI through high-volume production
  • Own, maintain and debug test stations at module manufacturing facilities
  • Develop test strategies covering upstream and downstream testing across multiple vendors
  • Drive Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) implementation with module manufacturers, fixture suppliers and test equipment vendors
  • Analyze NPI and production data to improve yields, optimize test times and expand test capabilities
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to engineering and manufacturing teams on critical production decisions
  • Lead technical discussions with vendors and test partners to resolve issues and deploy test solutions

Required Qualifications

  • BS in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Programming experience in C, C++, MATLAB, Python or similar
  • Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment and high-volume ATE testers such as LitePoint, Advantest or Teradyne
  • Familiarity with communication and debugging interfaces such as SPI, SWD, PCIe and JTAG

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS plus 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong understanding of wireless technologies and RF test methodologies
  • Experience building end-to-end test strategies with upstream and downstream test teams, and guiding external vendors and test partners
  • Strong hardware/software integration, troubleshooting and optimization skills
  • Production data analysis, yield improvement and Six Sigma experience; JMP or similar tools a plus
  • Experience designing, validating and debugging Device Under Test (DUT) control boards
  • Experience using generative AI tools to speed up data analysis and debug test programs

Type: Contract (W2)
Duration: 12 months with extension
