Full Stack Lead – Backend Engineering

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced hands-on Full Stack Lead with a strong backend focus to design, develop, and lead scalable enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate should be strong in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, System Design, Distributed Systems, AWS, and Kubernetes. This is not a pure architect or management role — the person must remain hands-on with coding while leading architecture, integrations, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead system design, architecture, and backend development.
• Develop scalable services using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
• Design Kafka-based event-driven and distributed systems.
• Define service boundaries, API contracts, data flows, and integration patterns.
• Remain hands-on with coding, code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Lead multiple development workstreams and mentor engineers.
• Coordinate with Product, QA, DevOps, frontend/mobile, and integration teams.
• Own delivery from requirements through production release and support.
• Design for scalability, availability, resiliency, security, caching, and observability.
• Work with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD environments.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Java / Spring Boot development.
• System Design / Software Architecture.
• Microservices / Distributed Systems.
• Kafka / Event-Driven Architecture.
• REST APIs / OpenAPI / Swagger.
• AWS or similar cloud platform.
• Docker / Kubernetes.
• Strong hands-on technical leadership.

Preferred

Experience with Claude, Cursor, LangChain, LangGraph, Spring AI, RAG, MCP, or AI agents is a strong plus.
