Job Description

Lab Analyst/ ONLY W2

Introduction: USC/ GC

Cambridge, MA, 1 in Waltham MA & 1 in Framingham, MA

The Lab Analyst position is based in Cambridge, MA and will involve providing consulting, analytical, and technical laboratory services to support various scientific platforms. The individual will work closely with business users and managers to analyze customer needs and propose solutions for the desired state.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Management and onsite Validation/Compliance support
  • IT Consulting
  • Customer Liaison
  • Onsite Lab IT Support

Requirements Management:

  • Understand problem statements and challenges
  • Define project scope
  • Gather requirements
  • Assist with Validation/Compliance activities as required

IT Consulting:

  • Analyze gaps/opportunities for improvement
  • Evaluate industry trends
  • Recommend process improvements

Customer Liaison:

  • Coordinate with internal/external service groups
  • Facilitate communication between system/lab owners and third parties
  • Provide planning schedules and metrics reporting

On Site Lab IT Support:

  • Perform break/fix support for instrument connected systems
  • Implement security policies
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies
  • Provide technical expertise for new system validation

Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Troubleshooting complex instrument and technology issues
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage tasks for multiple projects
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety practices

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor''s/Master''s degree in a relevant field
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in software development and testing
  • Business requirement analysis and gathering experience
  • Knowledge of Bio/Pharma industry processes
  • Familiarity with lab computing systems

Note: This role may require working second shift (2-10pm) after two months.
