Job description

We're looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join a high-profile programme delivering AI-driven solutions using Python, Azure OpenAI, and LLMs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Build and enhance LLM-powered document extraction pipelines.
  • Develop solutions for PDF processing, OCR, entity matching, and structured data extraction.
  • Improve accuracy through testing, evaluation, and regression frameworks.
  • Scale services using Azure, FastAPI, Terraform, and Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders to drive technical decisions.

Essential Skills
  • 5+ years' software engineering experience.
  • 2+ years working with LLMs and Generative AI solutions.
  • Strong Python and FastAPI development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI and Azure cloud services.
  • Experience processing and extracting data from complex documents.
  • Strong testing and CI/CD experience.

Desirable
  • OCR solutions
  • Databricks
  • Energy sector or Public Sector experience
  • Terraform and Cosmos DB
