Leading Specialist (m/f/d) Child and Adolescent Psychosomatics | Brandenburg an der Havel, Brandenburg, Germany | On-site

We are a leading national provider of specialized psychosomatic care, recognized for our comprehensive treatment programs and excellent working environment. We operate one of Germany's largest psychosomatic clinics, dedicated to providing advanced therapy for both adults and adolescents.

The Role

  • Assume direct medical leadership responsibilities on our psychosomatic youth ward, with the long-term prospect of full specialist leadership.
  • Provide structured support for clinical processes and the comprehensive psychotherapeutic treatment of adolescents.
  • Represent the Chief Physician in the role of Lead Specialist, contributing significantly to ward development.
  • Conduct targeted supervision for child and adolescent psychotherapists in training, fostering their professional growth.
  • Manage patient admissions, family consultations, and interdisciplinary intervisions to ensure high-quality care.

What You'll Need

  • Completed specialist training or be in the 4th year of training as an assistant doctor in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, with completed or advanced therapy training.
  • A strong interest in interdisciplinary collaboration within a multidisciplinary team comprising doctors, psychologists, nurses, educators, and specialist therapists.
  • Experience or willingness to participate in on-call duties from home in collaboration with adult station senior physicians.
  • A passion for working with young patients and a commitment to delivering excellent psychosomatic care.
