SEN Teacher | Reading, United Kingdom | Hybrid

We are seeking dedicated SEN Teachers to join a leading education support provider committed to transforming the lives of young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges. This is an opportunity to make a real impact in your community through flexible and trauma-informed teaching.

  • *The Role**
  • Provide in-person and remote core subject tuition (Maths, English, Science) to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
  • Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and schools to deliver tailored educational support.
  • Report on lesson outcomes and provide regular feedback on student progress.
  • Work within a mission-driven organization dedicated to raising the standard of education for vulnerable learners.

  • *What You'll Need**
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
  • A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH.
  • Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science at various key stages.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices and creating a safe learning environment.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
