The role involves shaping long-term departmental direction, advising on investment strategies, and collaborating with senior leadership to achieve organizational objectives. The Role • Serve as the principal advisor to the Department Head on conceptualizing and developing department strategies. • Advise on branding and departmental investment issues, contributing to strategic resource allocation. • Collaborate with senior management to devise and implement effective short-term and long-term plans. • Oversee the execution of departmental communication plans and editorial calendars. • Establish and review key strategic priorities, translating them into actionable plans aligned with organizational capabilities. • Assess the value and impact of ongoing work for the organization. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Physical Science, Mathematics, or a related field. • At least one year of specialized experience in providing technical oversight for strategic planning and execution. • Demonstrated ability to advise leadership on strategic direction and investment. • Experience in developing and implementing communication plans. • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills for working with senior management. • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a security clearance.
