Job Description

Job Title: Oracle Incentive Project Manager
Type: Contract
Work Model: Remote – offsite
Hours: 40.0

Responsibilities

  • Lead the pre-implementation workstream for the Incentive Compensation module, including scope definition, planning, sequencing, dependency tracking, and readiness for implementation kickoff.
  • Partner directly with the Oracle ICM technical-functional lead to translate technical and functional inputs into clear plans, timelines, decisions, and stakeholder-ready materials.
  • Facilitate working sessions with business subject matter experts to document current-state processes, handoffs, pain points, dependencies, and regulatory or risk considerations.
  • Drive requirements gathering and documentation, including eligibility, approval rules, notifications, audit controls, and reporting needs.
  • Coordinate documentation of current and future-state technology flows, including system touchpoints, integrations, data movement, and ownership.
  • Develop a project management playbook for prework and scoping for technical projects, capturing standard intake and kickoff steps, requirements and documentation templates, governance and decision-making cadence, RAID/risk management practices, status reporting formats, testing and cutover checkpoints, and knowledge-transfer expectations—designed to be reused across future HR Technology implementations.
  • Build and maintain the integrated project plan for technology delivery, RAID log, decision log, and stakeholder communication plan; keep all artifacts current and audit ready.
  • Produce concise, executive-ready status reporting that clearly communicates progress, risks, impediments, required decisions, and recommended actions.
  • Coordinate resource planning, onboarding, and vendor mobilization activities in partnership with HR Technology leadership and Procurement.
  • Support development of statement of work inputs, scope validation, and implementation partner selection readiness.
  • Establish and run a disciplined meeting cadence with published agendas, timely minutes, clear action items, and consistent follow-through to closure.
  • Navigate complex, multi-team stakeholder relationships, drive consensus on ownership, and escalate appropriately to keep decisions on the critical path.
  • Partner on RACI development and role clarity across all teams involved in the implementation.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated project management experience leading technical or enterprise system implementations, preferably with Oracle Cloud HCM and/or Oracle Incentive Compensation implementations.
  • Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to translate technical details into clear business language and tailor messaging for audiences ranging from individual contributors to senior executives.
  • Exceptional organizational skills—disciplined about documentation, follow-up, version control, and keeping large, cross-functional efforts on track without prompting.
  • Proven ability to create structure in ambiguous environments where requirements, resources, and decisions are still forming.
  • Experience developing project documentation, process flows, playbooks, templates, or operating procedures for reuse.
  • Strong facilitation skills for requirements sessions, working sessions, and leadership briefings.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, capacity constraints, and dependencies across multiple partner teams.
