About the role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Jiu-Jitsu Instructor to join our growing team as an After School Enrichment Educator.

This role focuses on leading engaging Jiu-Jitsu activities for elementary school students in an after-school setting. The ideal instructor is passionate about martial arts, enjoys working with children, and can create a safe, positive, and supportive environment where students can learn and build confidence through movement and discipline.

We’re Actively Seeking Instructors with Jiu-Jitsu/Martial Arts Experience

Schedule: September 25 – November 13, 2026

  • Fridays
    • 3rd Grade: 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM
    • 5th Grade: 3:35 PM – 4:25 PM

Compensation: $50/hour

In this role, you will:

  • Lead engaging and age-appropriate Jiu-Jitsu activities for elementary school students
  • Teach foundational Jiu-Jitsu movements, techniques, and concepts in a fun and accessible way
  • Ensure student safety and well-being throughout each session
  • Create a positive and inclusive environment that encourages confidence, discipline, and teamwork
  • Effectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcement
  • Adapt activities and instruction to different ages and skill levels
  • Maintain accurate attendance and incident records
  • Prepare and organize equipment and activity materials
  • Keep the instructional space clean, organized, and safe
  • 18+ years of age
  • Ability and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training
