Job Description

The Opportunity

At Animore, our AI/ML, Robotics and Software teams build things that have to work in the real world. Every sprint, models, hardware, code and customer deadlines all have to come together. Someone needs to see the whole picture and keep it moving. That’s where you come in.

As our Technical Program Manager, you’ll turn our roadmap into what actually gets built and shipped. You’ll work side by side with our engineers and understand the technical details well enough to ask the hard questions. Your job is to make sure we deliver what we promise.

This isn’t only about keeping things on track. You’ll help shape our roadmap and OKRs, balancing what the business needs with what engineering is struggling with. When a blocker appears or a team is stretched too thin, you’ll see it first and act before it slows anyone down.

You won’t be doing it alone. You’ll work with our Senior Program Manager, and together you’ll shape how program management works at Animore: the tools, the workflows and how the team grows.

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan and align technical deliverables across sprints and OKR cycles, so everyone knows what’s coming and why.
  • Work closely with our engineering teams every day.
  • Own the health of our GitLab tickets and get them closed on time every sprint.
  • Prepare and run sprint planning, including any work carried over from the previous sprint.
  • Make sure materials for the team’s weekly meetings are ready.
  • Challenge delivery timelines on technical grounds, and follow up on what’s been promised.
  • Track implementation progress across all technical teams.
  • Maintain OKR tracking from proposal to closure, kept in sync with GitLab.
  • Keep our company roadmap, engineering work and customer deliveries aligned with each other.
  • Spot technical risks early and drive the plan to reduce them.
  • 3 years as a technical program or project manager working directly with engineering teams.
  • A degree in engineering, computer science or a related field, or hands-on engineering experience. You can follow a technical discussion and push back on an estimate when it doesn’t add up.
  • You’ve worked hands-on with GitLab, Jira or a similar tracker. You keep boards clean and use them to report real progress.
  • You’ve worked with OKRs or a similar goal-setting framework and connected them to day-to-day engineering work.
  • You’ve coordinated cross-functional teams, and you can turn what technical stakeholders need into structured work.
  • You’re structured, proactive and focused on finding solutions.
  • You speak fluent English.

Nice to have

  • Experience with robotics, hardware or AI/ML products, where hardware and software timelines depend on each other.
  • Startup or scale-up experience, where processes are still being built.
  • Experience delivering projects to external customers.
  • Competitive compensation package
  • Various employee subsidies and perks, including public transportation and Wellpass
  • Work with a world-class team in a flat hierarchy, with direct collaboration alongside the founders and engineering team
  • Opportunity to make a real impact by working on cutting-edge robotics and AI systems
  • Fast growth potential in a rapidly evolving company and industry
  • International office environment with English as the official working language
