Production Associate - Robot Assembly

We are looking for a hands-on Production Associate to help assemble and test general-purpose consumer robots in Palo Alto.

You’ll work alongside engineers assembling mechanical and electronic components, inspecting completed work, running tests, and troubleshooting basic issues before robots reach customers.

Formal manufacturing experience is not required. Hands-on experience with hardware, electronics, mechanical systems, automotive work, robotics, computers, or similar projects can translate well.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday
• 40 hours per week
• Weekday business hours
• Occasional overtime
• Fully on-site
• 3 month contract to start

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electronic robot components
• Install wiring, sensors, hardware, and other components
• Use hand and power tools to complete assembly work
• Follow written procedures, diagrams, and engineering instructions
• Inspect parts and completed assemblies for quality and proper fit
• Run functional tests and troubleshoot basic issues
• Record production and test results on a computer
• Flag defects, damaged components, or assembly problems
• Work with engineers to resolve issues and improve assembly processes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Hands-on experience building, assembling, repairing, or troubleshooting hardware, electronics, mechanical systems, or similar equipment
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Able to follow written procedures and record results accurately
• Basic computer skills
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
• Comfortable performing repetitive assembly work and standing for extended periods
• Able to safely move parts and robot assemblies
