Job Description

Physical Therapist (PT) | Orthopedic Outpatient | Fort Pierce, FL

Location: Fort Pierce, FL
Salary: $88,000–$95,000 per year, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapy Office
Patient Load: Approximately 1–2 patients per hour

About the Job

We're looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) with outpatient experience for a full-time position in Fort Pierce, FL.

You'll work with orthopedic patients dealing with injuries, post-surgical recovery, mobility problems, weakness, and other musculoskeletal conditions. The goal is to help each patient improve how they move and get back to the activities they need or want to do.

The schedule is Monday through Friday with an expected pace of about one to two patients per hour.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate new patients and identify movement or functional limitations
  • Develop treatment plans based on examination findings and patient goals
  • Provide therapeutic exercise, strengthening, mobility work, and functional training
  • Use manual therapy when appropriate
  • Reassess patients and adjust treatment as they progress
  • Teach home exercise programs and proper exercise technique
  • Document visits, progress, and changes in the plan of care
  • Help patients work toward a safe return to normal activities
  • Current Physical Therapist license
  • DPT or MSPT degree
  • Previous outpatient physical therapy experience
  • Experience treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Good communication and documentation skills
