Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Test Architect to lead the end-to-end testing strategy, governance, automation, tooling, and quality assurance approach for a large-scale z/VSE to z/OS migration program.

 

The ideal candidate is a seasoned Mainframe Test Architect and Quality Engineering Leader with extensive experience supporting large-scale Mainframe migration, modernization, or transformation programs

 

Required Qualifications

Mainframe & Migration Expertise

  • 10+ years of experience in Test Architecture, Test Management, Quality Engineering, or QA leadership roles.
  • Strong experience with Mainframe application development, testing, migration, or modernization initiatives.
  • Hands-on knowledge of:
  • z/OS
  • COBOL
  • Assembler
  • Easytrieve
  • CICS
  • JCL
  • VSAM

Testing Tools & Automation

  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise testing strategies and toolchains.
  • Strong experience with:
  • Test management tools
  • Defect management platforms
  • Test automation frameworks
  • Regression testing
