Your Career Journey

Stage 1: IT Support & Infrastructure Apprentice

You'll gain hands-on experience supporting a wide range of IT and networking projects, including:

• Installing network cabling and data points.
• Supporting Wi-Fi Access Point installations.
• Assisting with IT infrastructure deployments.
• Setting up and troubleshooting desktop PCs, laptops, and printers.
• Diagnosing basic hardware and connectivity issues.
• Supporting customer installations and site visits.
• Learning how business IT networks are designed, maintained, and supported.
• Working safely with professional tools and equipment.

Stage 2: IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer

As your knowledge and experience grow, you'll progress towards:

• Delivering network and cabling installations.
• Configuring and supporting wireless networking solutions.
• Resolving network connectivity issues.
• Supporting servers, cloud services, and cybersecurity solutions.
• Managing customer IT projects.
• Becoming a trusted technical contact for business clients.

Essential Skills & Qualities

• Passion for IT and technology.

• Basic understanding of desktop PCs and printers.

Desirable

• Experience installing data cabling.
• Experience working with Wi-Fi Access Points.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Experience building, repairing, or configuring computers.
• Electrical or installation experience.
• Familiarity with using ladders, drills, and hand tools safely.

Additional Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
• Comfortable carrying out physical installation work.
• Able to work safely at height using ladders when required.
• Confident using tools and equipment as part of installations.
