Our client has an urgent need for an Azure Integration and DevOps Engineer who can operate across Azure integration, DevOps, cloud engineering, automation, security, software development and production support.
The ideal candidate is someone who can do more than build integrations; we need someone who understands the full lifecycle from development and deployment through security, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production operations.

  • Active Secret clearance (Top Secret is acceptable)
  • Strong hands-on Azure experience, particularly:
    • Azure Functions
    • Logic Apps
    • Event Hubs

  • 4 days onsite / 1 day remote

Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, enterprise Terraform practices, and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Microsoft Copilot is a plus.

This role is ideal for an engineer who sits at the intersection of cloud engineering, DevOps, software development, and enterprise integration. The successful candidate will build, deploy, automate, monitor, and support Azure-based integration solutions using services such as Azure Event Hubs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Key Vault, Storage, and Application Insights.

We are looking for someone who can do more than simply develop integrations. This person should understand how those integrations get secured, deployed through CI/CD, monitored in production, troubleshot, and operated reliably in a government environment.

The engineer will also leverage modern AI-assisted development and Microsoft Copilot capabilities to accelerate software delivery, improve code quality, automate routine engineering tasks, and help modernize existing solutions while maintaining appropriate security and governance.

**Position requires to be ONSITE 4 Days with 1 Remote Day**

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, deploy, and support Azure integration solutions.
  • Build event-driven and serverless solutions using Azure Event Hubs, Functions, Logic Apps, and API Management.
  • Develop and maintain Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for repeatable Azure infrastructure deployments.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Automate Azure provisioning, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and operational processes.
  • Implement secure solutions using Entra ID, managed identities, Key Vault, RBAC, and appropriate cloud security practices.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot application, integration, infrastructure, and production issues using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
  • Develop APIs, integrations, and automation using C#/.NET, Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
  • Use GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, and other approved AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development, testing, documentation, and automation.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, cybersecurity teams, and government stakeholders to deliver mission-focused solutions.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in Azure, cloud engineering, DevOps, software development, or systems integration.
  • Secret clearance
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Hubs, and related integration services.
  • Strong experience with Terraform/IaC and automated Azure infrastructure deployment.
  • Experience with CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with cloud security concepts including RBAC, managed identities, Entra ID, and Key Vault.
  • Strong troubleshooting and automation skills.

Desired:
  • Experience with Azure API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights.
  • Experience with Terraform modules and enterprise IaC practices.
  • Experience with GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI, or similar AI-assisted development tools.
