HR Advisor Manufacturing Newtown, Wales
A Human Resources Advisor job is available in Newtown, Wales, with an established manufacturing business.
We are seeking an experienced HR professional with a strong background in employee relations, performance management and HR advisory support, ideally within a manufacturing or operational environment.
Based in Newtown, you will provide comprehensive HR support across the business, working closely with managers, employees and the wider HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor looking to take responsibility for a broad range of HR activities within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities of the Human Resources Advisor job in Newtown, Wales
• Providing HR advice and guidance to managers and employees, including supporting recruitment, employee relations and performance management.
• Managing complex employee relations casework, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, dispute resolution, retirement and redundancy.
• Supporting HR policies, procedures and processes, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, company requirements and health and safety standards.
• Supporting workforce planning, absence and retention initiatives, succession planning, performance management and employee development.
• Supporting employee engagement, induction, pay reviews and wider HR projects aligned with the strategic objectives of the organisation.
Requirements of the Human Resources Advisor job in Newtown, Wales
• Experience in a similar HR Advisor or HR generalist role, with experience managing employee relations casework including disciplinaries and grievances.
• In-depth knowledge of HR best practice and UK employment law, with the ability to provide effective advice and guidance.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build trust and relationships at all levels.
• Strong organisational, analytical and IT skills, including experience with HR software; Workday experience is desirable, alongside the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
