They are seeking a financial expert to join one of their community hospitals, offering a chance to make a significant impact. The Role • Lead the accounting and financial operations for the hospital, including billing, accounts receivable, cash receipts, collections, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, forecasting, budgeting, internal controls, and audits. • Prepare monthly and annual financial reviews, budgets, and required state financial reports. • Develop and implement plans to enhance operational efficiency, collaborating with hospital leadership and corporate teams. • Participate in hospital Governing Body committees and partnership boards as needed. • Assist in monitoring compliance with Medicare regulations. • Foster a collaborative and celebratory team environment. What You'll Need • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred. • Minimum of five years of hospital accounting experience is preferred. • Strong knowledge of financial management, analysis, and accounting principles. • Proven experience in financial management, including labor management, revenue analysis, expense management, and contract negotiation. • Relevant experience in budgeting (capital and operational) and establishing a strong internal control environment. • Managerial skills typically acquired through experience in accounting or healthcare operations.
