Job Description
* Lead the development, maintenance or modification of system designs/proposals to provide design documentation and high-level requirements to downstream users/customers
* Perform detailed design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations
* Prepare technical documents for mechanical components and systems
* Prepare proposal and new business development efforts
* Work with test program management for work estimation and intake process
* Delegate tasks to design team and provide supervision to junior engineers. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Oklahoma City, OK. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): * Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
* 5+ years of experience in mechanical system design
* Practical experience and knowledge of Fuels, Hydraulic Systems, or ECS. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): * Experience with and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
* Experience reading and interpreting engineering schematics, and specifications
* Experience performing Mechanical System Design and Analysis
* 3+ years of experience designing tooling using CAD/CAM software, preferably CATIA
* Experience producing technical reports and presentations
* Strong written, verbal communications and presentation skills
* Familiarity with engineering processes and methods
* Experience working with cross functional teams.
