Cloud Security Architect

Position Details:
Client: Financial
Title: Cloud Security Architect
Duration: 6+ months (Contract) Possibility of Extension
Location: Hybrid 3 Day Onsite
Pay Rate Range: $80/hr -120/hr (Contract)

Must Haves:

• 8+ years of experience in Security Architecture within large enterprise environments.


• Proven experience designing secure AWS cloud architectures.


• Experience leading or supporting enterprise-scale cloud migration initiatives.


• Strong understanding of AWS security services, including IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, VPC Security, CloudWatch, and AWS Organizations.


• Hands-on experience performing:




• Threat Modeling


• Security Risk Assessments


• Vulnerability Assessments


• Architecture Reviews




• Experience implementing enterprise security controls, including:




• Identity & Access Management (IAM)


• Encryption & Key Management


• Network Security


• Secrets Management


• Zero Trust Architecture


• Security Monitoring & Logging




• Experience partnering with Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, Security Operations, and Engineering teams.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and business teams.

• Experience within Banking, Payments, FinTech, or other highly regulated industries.


• Experience supporting high-volume transaction processing or money movement platforms.


• Knowledge of PCI DSS, NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar security frameworks.


• AWS Security Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent cloud certifications.
