Role: Lead Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Job Type: Contract with Possible Hire
Our client is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in private cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting, and supporting large-scale distributed environments. This role will provide technical leadership while partnering with Engineering, SRE, and Product teams to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance.
Requirements:

• 5+ years of Infrastructure Engineering experience
• Strong private cloud infrastructure expertise
• Experience with Kubernetes/containerization
• Strong troubleshooting and production support skills
• Knowledge of networking, databases, storage, automation, and platform engineering
• Experience with incident, change, and problem management
• Ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate across teams

Preferred:

• Terraform
• AWS/Public Cloud exposure
• SRE or Platform Engineering background
• Observability and telemetry tools
• Kubernetes or Cloud certifications
