Are you an experienced F-Gas Trainer, Refrigeration Engineer or Air Conditioning Engineer with in-depth knowledge of F-Gas regulations, refrigerant handling and AC/R systems?

Do you enjoy sharing your technical knowledge and helping other engineers develop their skills?

We're looking for an experienced F-Gas Trainer to join the growing Daikin UK Training Team. With more than 10,000 courses delivered over the past 12 months, demand for technical and F-Gas training continues to grow.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Refrigeration or Air Conditioning Engineer looking to move into technical training, or an established F-Gas Trainer looking to develop their career with a leading manufacturer.

What Will You Be Doing?

As an F-Gas Trainer, you will deliver high-quality technical training to engineers across Daikin UK's training centres, customer locations and partner education providers.

Your training will cover F-Gas certification, refrigerant handling, environmental legislation, safety, compliance and refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

You will:

  • Deliver engaging F-Gas training to engineers, customers and internal employees.
  • Provide training covering F-Gas certification, refrigerant handling, safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Support the development of qualified F-Gas, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers.
  • Deliver technical training covering relevant DX, split and VRV air conditioning systems.
  • Keep training content up to date with developments in F-Gas regulations, refrigerants, environmental compliance and low-carbon technologies.
  • Develop classroom, virtual and digital technical training content.
  • Promote safe, efficient and environmentally responsible refrigerant handling.
  • Help address the industry's skills shortage by developing the next generation of qualified engineers.
About You:

We're looking for an experienced F-Gas Trainer, Refrigeration Engineer or Air Conditioning Engineer with strong technical knowledge and the communication skills to train and develop others.

You will ideally have:

  • Strong knowledge of F-Gas regulations and refrigerant handling.
  • Practical experience within refrigeration and/or air conditioning.
  • F-Gas 2079 certification.
  • Ideally, an NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning/Refrigeration.
  • A good understanding of F-Gas compliance, safety protocols and industry best practice.
  • Technical knowledge of AC/R systems.
  • Previous technical training, mentoring or coaching experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • The ability to explain complex technical information clearly.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the UK.

Most importantly, you'll enjoy sharing your expertise and helping engineers build their technical skills and industry qualifications.
