Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) Developer

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) Developer with a strong background in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building enterprise customer journeys, personalization, audience segmentation, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AJO customer journeys across Email, SMS, Push, Web, and other channels.
• Configure AEP XDM schemas, datasets, Real-Time Customer Profile, Identity Service, and Segmentation.
• Build audience segments, real-time events, journey conditions, personalization, and business rules.
• Develop REST APIs, custom actions, and integrations with Salesforce, CRM, data warehouses, and other systems.
• Manage event-based and batch data ingestion into AEP.
• Troubleshoot journeys, data flows, segmentation, APIs, and integrations.
• Perform testing, debugging, production support, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, data engineers, and business teams.
• Follow data governance, security, privacy, and compliance standards.

Requirements

Required Skills

• 7+ years overall IT experience.
• 4+ years Adobe Experience Cloud experience.
• 3+ years hands-on AJO/AEP experience.
• Strong knowledge of AJO, AEP, XDM, Real-Time Customer Profile, Identity, Segmentation, and Journey Orchestration.
• Experience with customer journeys, audience segmentation, personalization, and profile management.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, integrations, custom actions, and event processing.
• Experience integrating AJO/AEP with Salesforce/CRM and enterprise applications.
• Good knowledge of SQL, data models, APIs, and data flows.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Adobe RTCDP, Analytics, Target, or Campaign.
• AJO/AEP certification.
• AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform, Kafka, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• CI/CD and enterprise deployment experience.
