Job Title: Snowflake Developer

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Duration : Long Term

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Developer to design, implement, and optimize our cloud-based data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Snowflake, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform), and modern data engineering practices. This role requires both technical leadership and hands-on development to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Snowflake-based data warehouse architectures.
  • Develop efficient data models to support analytics, BI, and reporting needs.
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL, Python, and cloud-native tools.
  • Ensure performance tuning, query optimization, and cost management in Snowflake.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Establish and enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in data engineering.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s/Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 9 10+ years of experience in data engineering/architecture, with 4 5+ years hands-on Snowflake expertise.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, automation).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience integrating Snowflake with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance (GDPR, CCPA).
  • Exposure to real-time data streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark).
