Paramedic

• Location: Evansville, IN

• Schedule: Rotating shift | Full-time

• Lead life-saving interventions by identifying and stabilizing critically ill or injured patients in high-pressure environments, ensuring they arrive safely at the next level of care.
• Execute advanced clinical protocols in collaboration with your transport RN and physician partners to provide seamless, ICU-level care during transit.
• Communicate vital patient narratives to receiving medical teams, ensuring a clear and accurate handoff that preserves the continuity of patient care.
• Manage sophisticated medical technology and transport equipment, maintaining a rigorous standard of readiness to ensure the safety of your team and your patients.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Paramedic credentialed from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

One or more of the following preferred:

• Drivers License.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Prehospital Trauma Life Support or International Trauma Life support obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Work Experience:

• Minimum Qualification: Three years of full time experience in Emergency Medical Services as a Paramedic.
