Indotronix is seeking an : Onsite Job - Network / Systems Engineer Level 3 Work Location: Colorado Springs, CO Shift: 1st Shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Work Schedule: 1st Shift Overtime: Possible OT Opportunities Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance Required Position Responsibilities

  • In this role, the candidate will support the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure.
  • This role is responsible for ensuring reliable connectivity across LAN/WAN environments while collaborating with senior engineers on network design and optimization.
  • The ideal candidate brings strong networking fundamentals and a hands-on approach to supporting production environments.
  • Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls from vendors such as Cisco and Juniper Networks.
  • Monitor network performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving connectivity, latency, and packet loss issues.
  • Implement and support core networking technologies, including VLANs, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and basic network security controls.
  • Troubleshoot network incidents across LAN/WAN environments, performing root cause analysis and documenting resolutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support network changes, upgrades, and infrastructure projects.
  • Travel to remote locations to lead and perform network installations, independently perform troubleshooting, and provide status updates to Program personnel.
  • The candidate may be required to support critical activities outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Perform any other required tasks by the program. Required Qualifications
  • Generally has 3+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
  • The position requires an IAT Level II 8570-compliant certification such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.
  • Must have an active Secret Security Clearance.
  • This position requires a CCNA or JNCIA certification.
  • Must be a proven network engineer with hands-on mid-level experience and knowledge of network design, development, and testing methodologies.
  • Must have an understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP, and routing protocols BGP and OSPF.
  • Must have network traffic analysis, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must have firewall experience, especially Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto.
  • Must have experience in UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE Tunnels, and TCP/IP network designs.
  • Must have hands-on experience with multi-vendor switching and routing (Juniper, Cisco), WAN optimizer, TACLANEs, and optical transport equipment.
  • Must be an effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint and Visio.

Preferred Skills

  • Top Secret Clearance.
  • CCNP or JNCIP Certification.
  • Foundation, NSX, vSAN, and Aria.
  • Experience with network automation using Ansible.
  • Understand standard DoD security practices such as STIG compliance and system accreditation implementation efforts.
  • Prior C2BMC experience. Education / Experience
  • Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification.
  • Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification.
  • PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.
