As Head of Technology, you'll lead a high-performing technology function and play a critical role in shaping the technology strategy that supports both current and future business needs.

This is a senior leadership role focused on bringing together Engineering, Quality Assurance, Project Delivery, and IT Support into a highly aligned, customer-focused technology organisation. You'll lead leaders, build a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and create the operating rhythm that enables teams to consistently convert ideas into customer value.

Working closely with business stakeholders and product leaders, you'll drive execution excellence, foster innovation, and ensure our technology investments deliver measurable business outcomes.

Day in the life:

• Define and drive the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap in partnership with business stakeholders
• Lead engineering operations across business analysis, architecture, software engineering, quality assurance, and support functions
• Ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards
• Build, develop, and lead high-performing engineering teams through effective coaching, mentorship, and performance management
• Develop and implement engineering processes and practices that improve efficiency, quality, and security
• Partner with product and business stakeholders to understand customer needs and deliver successful outcomes
• Manage engineering budgets, resources, forecasts, risks, and constraints across delivery initiatives
• Drive agile delivery practices including roadmaps, estimations, capacity planning, stakeholder engagement, and communication
• Ensure technical quality, technology governance, and cyber security risks are effectively managed
• Identify and adopt technology innovations that enhance business performance
• Set OKRs, support professional development, and continuously evolve team capability

You'll be perfect for the role, if you have:

• 5+ year's experience in engineering management leading teams of engineers and delivering high-quality products
• Experience developing and implementing engineering processes and procedures
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional agile delivery teams
• Strong understanding of software engineering, product design, and product development principles
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, practices, and ways of working
• Experience managing budgets, resources, risks, and delivery outcomes
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience within travel or other internet-scale environments (desirable)
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience
