The Role • Oversee supplier manufacturing activities to ensure compliance with critical requirements for structural and mechanical components. • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Design Engineering, and Supplier Quality to drive supplier performance. • Identify, escalate, and facilitate the prompt resolution of supplier issues, risks, and quality events. • Monitor key supplier metrics such as On-Time Delivery and Quality, implementing corrective actions and improvement plans. • Manage internal and external corrective action requests, performing root cause analysis and verifying preventative measures. • Support frequent onsite visits to manufacturing facilities and company headquarters. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Welding, or Manufacturing disciplines). • 4+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or fabrication. • Experience with fabrication and design of ASME Section VIII pressure vessels and heat exchangers. • Proficient in manufacturing processes including machining, welding, forming, assembly, NDE, and inspection. • Working knowledge of manufacturing and Quality Plans, with the ability to read drawings and specifications made to ASME standards. • Ability to travel frequently to supplier sites and company headquarters, including standing and moving on shop floors for extended periods. • Experience in Power Generation or Nuclear Industries is preferred, but experience in Oil & Gas, Ship Building, or general manufacturing is also relevant.
