Job Description Summary At Service Stream, we're committed to connecting communities through critical infrastructure services. As we continue our digital transformation journey, we're looking for an experienced SAP Developer (CPI & BTP Cloud Integration) to play a key role in designing, developing, and managing enterprise grade integrations and cloud native applications across our SAP landscape. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled SAP professional who thrives in complex environments and wants to leverage the latest SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) capabilities to drive innovation, scalability, and business value.

Please note: This role is only open to Australian Citizens.

About the Role
  • Design and develop scalable applications and extensions using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with Node.js or Java.
  • Build and maintain secure, high performing APIs (OData and REST) for consumption by SAP Fiori, mobile applications, and modern web frameworks.
  • Leverage SAP BTP services including Event Mesh, Workflow Management, Document Management Services, and Mobile Services.
  • Develop event driven business processes and integration solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation across the SAP BTP and CPI ecosystem.
  • Perform API management, data transformation, and process modelling activities.
  • Design, develop, and support integration flows (iFlows) using SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
  • Integrate SAP S/4HANA (Cloud and On Premise), SAP ECC, SAP FSM, Salesforce, custom APIs, and other enterprise systems.
  • Implement integration best practices, including synchronous and asynchronous messaging, error handling and monitoring, and security frameworks (OAuth and certificate based authentication).
  • Manage deployment, monitoring, and support of integration artefacts within the SAP BTP landscape.
Technical Leadership & Governance
  • Act as the technical SME for SAP BTP and CPI development.
  • Provide guidance on architecture patterns, security standards, and development best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and drive adherence to clean code principles and performance optimisation.
  • Support and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, and SAP BTP deployment services.
  • Contribute to platform governance, operational excellence, and cost optimisation initiatives.
About you
  • 7+ years of SAP development experience, including 3+ years specializing in SAP BTP and SAP CPI/Integration Suite.
  • Proven delivery of full cycle BTP/CPI implementations, middleware integration frameworks, and enterprise integration solutions.
  • Strong hands on experience with SAP CAP, CPI integration flow development, and large scale ERP transformation programs.
  • Experience working in complex enterprise environments with strong stakeholder engagement, BAU support, and a solid understanding of Clean Core and standard first SAP strategies.
  • Degree qualified in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, with strong development skills in Node.js/JavaScript or Java.
  • Expertise in SAP HANA Cloud, data modelling, calculation views, SQL optimisation, and SAP BTP security concepts including IAS and destination management.
  • Experience with event driven architectures, SAP Event Mesh, and modern front end technologies such as SAP Fiori/UI5, React, or Angular.
  • SAP CPI/BTP certification highly regarded; experience with SAP AI Core, AI/ML integrations, Docker, Kubernetes, BTP runtime environments, and SAP Mobile Services will be highly advantageous.
