Description
SAIC is seeking an experienced DevSecOps (DSO) Engineer with a cybersecurity focus to support our Department of the Air Force customer in deployment and hardening of a cloud infrastructure. The Cyber DevSecOps Engineer will build, manage, maintain and scale operational cybersecurity applications and be a critical subject matter expert for consulting and implementation support.
SAIC is the premier Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) integrator with expertise in transforming legacy command and control systems into a modern hybrid cloud environment to accelerate decision making and increase mission success. This next generation approach shall employ the latest advancements across the technology spectrum and distributed architectures to deliver a cutting-edge approach.
We are seeking a high energy, detail-oriented and highly organized Cyber DSO to join our dynamic team. As a Cyber DSO, you will play a critical role in deploying, operating, and securing cloud development, staging, testing, and operational environments in support of our nation's most challenging national security missions. This is a hybrid position with onsite requirements at the Rosslyn, VA facility which will be moving to Crystal City.
Responsibilities of the DevSecOps Engineer include:
Design, deploy, operate, and maintain secure Cloud products and services within a Cloud-based environment to enable development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible
Deployment and maintenance of cybersecurity tools and applications
Provide Source Control Management/Documentation, collaborate with other DSOs to create and maintain fully automated CI build processes for cybersecurity applications
Support CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management, and maintenance. Support full automation of CI/CD testing
Support policies, standards, guidelines, governance and related guidance for both CI/CD operations and for work of developers
Enable successful release management by moving code from Development and Testing environments to Staging and Production
Work closely with software developers, production support, and information security to automate and support infrastructure and tooling in cloud-based platforms.
Continuously identify opportunities to automate and increase cyber posture
Qualifications
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's and nine (9) years or more experience; Master's and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

Proven background working in DevOps software development environments with specific experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
o Experience with tools like Axonious, Splunk, Trend Micro, ACAS
o Security automation
o Pipeline development and maintenance
o CI/CD with GitLab and Bitbucket
o Container management with Kubernetes and Helm
o Cloud - CloudOne, AWS
o Containerization with Docker or Red Hat Podman
o Agile software development with Scrum or Kanban
o Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence
o Cross Domain Solutions
o Multi-Level Security Networks (MLS / MILS)
Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
