The Role • Assemble steel structures for medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations (up to 380kV). • Install high and medium-voltage equipment, including electrical systems, mounting brackets, and insulators. • Perform assembly and disassembly of bolted and crimped connections, as well as pipe and cable installations, including tensioning. • Review and mark up plan documents with changes. • Contribute to crucial projects for climate protection goals and the energy transition. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training as a locksmith, metalworker, industrial mechanic, construction mechanic, plant mechanic, or a comparable qualification. • Previous experience in locksmithing, ideally from construction, mechanical and plant engineering, energy technology, or the metal processing industry. • Experience with electrical installations is advantageous. • A valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel to project sites with your own vehicle. • Willingness for regular on-site assignments (e.g., Monday-Thursday) within Northern Germany, including overnight stays. • Good German language skills and a self-motivated, responsible work ethic.
