The Role

• Review, revise, and edit technical documentation to meet style guidelines and industry best practices for regulatory documents, manuals, and technical orders.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to gather technical information and produce clear, well-organized written drafts.
• Ensure the grammatical correctness, clarity, and readability of all written materials using advanced editorial techniques.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive listing of technical documents, including key data and revision schedules.
• Write original content such as articles and talking points, synthesizing information from various sources.
• Prepare, edit, and revise a variety of documentation including reports, correspondence, and briefings.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 10 years of professional technical writing experience.
• Ability to successfully complete and pass a Public Trust Security Investigation.
• Proven experience in developing SOPs and managing records management processes.
• Familiarity with Federally-mandated "plain language" writing standards is a plus.
• Experience with Adobe InDesign is beneficial.
