Cross Domain Systems Engineer, Senior | Bowie, MD, United States | Hybrid | $86,800.00 - $198,000.00

This employer is hiring for a leading national security firm that combines technical expertise with strategic insight to drive impactful solutions. The Opportunity

  • Lead the development and deployment of digital cross-domain solutions for critical customer missions.
  • Engage with customers to capture, define, and understand user and security requirements.
  • Decompose and manage hardware, software, interface, and security control requirements.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders throughout system development, integration, testing, and fielding activities.
  • Support system accreditation efforts following the Risk Management Framework and ensure adherence to security objectives.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience developing various levels of requirements, including system-level, hardware, software, and user stories.
  • Demonstrated ability to create technical written deliverables for system delivery and deployment.
  • Experience with online collaboration and work tracking tools such as Atlassian Suite, Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
  • Strong knowledge of the Risk Management Framework and its application in system accreditation.
  • Ability to plan and manage systems delivery and deployment efforts, including technical plans, schedules, and risk tracking.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to obtain a polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and 5+ years of engineering experience, or 12+ years of engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
