Junior Cloud Software Engineer [$325k/yr+] TS/SCI-FS Poly with Security Clearance

Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.

Summary: • Design, develop, and integrate cloud software solutions for distributed systems and large-scale compute clusters. • Support full-lifecycle agile software development, testing, optimization, and sustainment for complex technical products. • Implement infrastructure as code, containerized microservices, and big data integrations to ensure system scalability.

Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 6+ years • Total Compensation: $325k+ yearly (tentative) Job Description: • Perform requirements analysis, software design, development, integration, testing, and troubleshooting for high-performance distributed architectures. • Develop resilient software solutions in Java, Python, and C/C++ within UNIX/Linux environments, focusing on networking and multi-threading. • Build and deploy containerized microservices using Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. • Automate deployments and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code tools including Ansible and Puppet. • Leverage CI/CD pipelines, source code management tools, and Agile practices to deliver reliable software enhancements. • Interface with distributed data stores and messaging systems, including Hadoop, Accumulo, NiFi, MongoDB, and ActiveMQ. • Conduct code reviews, establish SOPs, maintain technical documentation, and participate in rotating Tier III on-call and emergency surge support.

Telework: This position is primarily performed on-site, with ad-hoc telework opportunities available for qualified team members on select tasks and research projects.
