Job Description

As a Lead Business Analyst, you will be entrusted with the responsibility for analysis on large and complex change initiatives. You will collaborate with stakeholders and your team to explore operational challenges and opportunities, identifying efficient solutions through information, technology, process, or organisational changes. Your role will involve defining the scope, priorities, and benefits with stakeholders, selecting suitable techniques to gather requirements, and considering organisational structure and roles in alignment with future business processes.

Responsibilities

• Investigate operational issues and opportunities alongside stakeholders.
• Identify efficient solutions through improvements in information, technology, process, or organisational change.
• Define scope, priorities, and benefits with stakeholders.
• Select appropriate techniques for eliciting requirements from stakeholders.
• Analyse processes and data to identify options for consideration.
• Conduct advanced modelling activities.
• Document business requirements ensuring traceability and adherence to standards.
• Define user acceptance tests.
• Provide guidance and direction to less experienced colleagues.
• Influence practice direction by sharing ideas and driving change.
• Act as a role model for the organisation's values.
• Promote knowledge transfer and awareness of technical specialism.
• Take responsibility for tools and quality standards related to the specialism.

Essential Skills

• Proven expertise in analysis, annuity, life, pensions, and business analysis.
