In this role, you will lead the company’s finance and legal controlling agenda, helping shape planning and decision-making across the business. You will work as a trusted finance partner to senior leadership while collaborating closely with Controlling and Group Management teams at headquarters to support disciplined reporting, compliance, and portfolio profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Safeguard corporate secretarial legal compliance.
  • Administer pricing and profitability for the exhibitions and trade fair portfolio.
  • Act as custodian of all financial reporting data.
  • Work closely with the Controlling and Group Management teams at the Munich headquarters.
  • Serve as the finance business partner to the senior leadership team.
  • Qualified or semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance.
  • 6–8 years of post-qualification experience in finance or controlling roles, including 2–3+ years of independently owning FP&A processes and 2–3+ years of independently managing compliance processes.
  • Strong experience with sales forecasting, pricing administration, and managing project or event P&L.
  • Advanced Excel skills, along with hands-on experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and Ind AS, as well as corporate secretarial board processes, CSR documentation, ROC/MCA filings, and trademark registration or renewal coordination.
  • Demonstrated experience with financial data governance and internal controls.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leadership on financial planning decisions and to work effectively with sales and operations teams.
  • Strong collaboration skills across global controlling and management teams, including cross-cultural coordination with German headquarters.
  • Confident communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in a finance or business partnering context.
  • Hands-on experience with BI or reporting tools is a plus.
