Job Description

Product Manager / Product Owner

Location: Stamford, CT (Hybrid)
Duration: 9-Month Contract
Pay Rate: $60-$70/hr

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Product Manager / Product Owner to support high-priority growth and transformation initiatives within a digital commerce organization. This individual will partner closely with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives from concept through execution, translate business objectives into actionable product strategies, manage priorities, and ensure initiatives deliver measurable business value.
This role requires a strong combination of product ownership, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and execution leadership within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

What You'll Do

  • Drive strategic initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to align priorities and deliver business outcomes.
  • Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage product backlogs and support Agile delivery teams.
  • Build business cases and executive-level recommendations.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities impacting initiative success.
  • Define and measure KPIs to evaluate product and business performance.
  • Collaborate across Product, UX, Technology, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Experience teams.
  • Influence decision-making and drive alignment across stakeholders.
  • Support digital commerce, customer acquisition, self-service, and sales transformation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Strategy, Consulting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong Product Owner and product lifecycle management experience.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Expertise in stakeholder management and influencing without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentations.
  • Experience managing product roadmaps, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Experience with Jira and Agile product management tools.
  • Understanding of digital products, customer experience, and sales processes.

  • Telecommunications industry experience.
  • Digital commerce/eCommerce experience.
  • Technology industry experience.
  • Subscription-based business experience.
  • Customer acquisition and digital sales expertise.
  • Self-service platform experience.
  • Product Owner certification.
  • Experience within large matrixed organizations.
  • Experience supporting mergers, integrations, or strategic partnerships.
  • Familiarity with analytics and data visualization tools.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Stamford, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
