Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) Administrator | Contract
We are actively recruiting an Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) Administrator for our client in a remote environment. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity that will require remote work with a preference for candidates located within the Eastern or Central Time Zones. This is an excellent opportunity for a data and analytics professional to become the long-term subject matter expert for a strategic Oracle analytics platform. Must have strong Oracle database experience, advanced SQL skills, and experience supporting data warehousing and business intelligence environments.

Key Responsibilities
Oracle FDI Administration
- Support day-to-day administration of Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI).
- Assist with platform configuration, maintenance, and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot platform, workbook, and reporting issues.
- Collaborate with vendor support and internal teams to resolve technical challenges.
Analytics & Reporting Support
- Support business users and developers utilizing Oracle FDI and Workbook Developer.
- Troubleshoot workbook performance, data quality, and reporting issues.
- Analyze SQL generated by reporting applications to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
- Assist with analytics platform optimization and performance improvement initiatives.
Environment Management
- Create, migrate, and deploy bundles across Development, Test, and Production environments.
- Support release management and deployment activities.
- Maintain consistency and integrity across environments.
Data Warehousing & Data Modeling
- Support enterprise data warehouse structures and reporting frameworks.
- Work with fact tables, dimension tables, star schemas, and data models.
- Analyze data relationships, joins, transformations, and reporting structures.
- Support semantic model extensions and integration of additional data sources.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external support resources.
- Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Participate in knowledge transfer and documentation efforts.
- Help build long-term organizational expertise around the analytics platform.
Required Qualifications
- Strong Oracle database experience.
- Advanced SQL development, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
- Experience supporting data warehousing and business intelligence environments.
- Strong understanding of:
- Star schema architecture
- Fact and dimension tables
- Data modeling
- Complex SQL joins and transformations
- Experience troubleshooting data, reporting, and analytics issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) experience.
- Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) experience.
- Workbook Developer experience.
- Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Oracle Analytics, or similar platforms.
- Experience with Semantic Model Extensions.
- Experience migrating content and managing deployments across environments.
- Oracle certifications or Oracle training related to analytics, cloud, or data technologies.
