The Role

You'll join a busy and growing office, working alongside experienced engineers on a range of mechanical building services projects.

You'll be involved in the design, development and delivery of mechanical building services solutions, taking ownership of your work while benefiting from the support of senior engineers.

As part of the role, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Assist with the design and delivery of mechanical building services systems, including HVAC, heating, ventilation and domestic water services

  • Ensure designs comply with relevant building regulations, industry standards and best practices

  • Take increasing responsibility for projects as your experience and confidence develop

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with a solid foundation in mechanical building services engineering who is ready to continue developing their career.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • 3–5 years' experience working in mechanical building services, ideally within a consultancy environment

  • A relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline

  • Experience working on the design of mechanical building services systems

  • A good understanding of HVAC, heating, ventilation and domestic water systems

  • Experience producing mechanical calculations, technical drawings and specifications

  • Familiarity with industry design software such as AutoCAD, Revit or IES would be advantageous

  • A good understanding of relevant UK building regulations and industry standards

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • A proactive attitude, good problem-solving skills and a willingness to take ownership of your work

  • The ability to commute to the Westerham office five days a week

You don't need to know everything from day one. We're looking for someone with the right technical foundation, a positive attitude and the ambition to continue improving.

What's On Offer?

You'll be joining a growing and ambitious building services team where your contribution will be valued and you'll have the opportunity to develop alongside experienced engineers.

This is an opportunity to build on your existing experience, gain exposure to a variety of projects and take on greater responsibility as your career progresses.

You'll benefit from ongoing technical support, professional development opportunities and the chance to grow into a more senior engineering role over time.

For someone looking to take the next step in their mechanical building services career, this offers a great balance of hands-on project experience, technical development and long-term progression.

If you're a motivated Mechanical Building Services Engineer with a few years of experience under your belt and you're looking for a new challenge within a growing business, we'd like to hear from you.
