Job Description

Ios developer
Onsite in Plano, TX
Fulltime/W2 role.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop native iOS applications using Swift and, where applicable, Objective-C.

  • Translate business and technical requirements into reliable mobile application features.

  • Build reusable, maintainable, and testable code following established development standards.

  • Develop user interfaces using UIKit and SwiftUI, with attention to usability, accessibility, and performance.

  • Integrate RESTful APIs, web services, databases, authentication systems, and third-party SDKs.

  • Implement application architecture using patterns such as MVC, MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture.

  • Write unit tests, UI tests, integration tests, and automated test cases.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects, crashes, and performance issues.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, product, QA, DevOps, cybersecurity, and client stakeholders.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation and development standards.

  • Support application deployment through Apple App Store, TestFlight, and enterprise distribution channels.

  • Monitor production issues and provide ongoing maintenance and enhancements.

  • Follow secure coding practices, privacy requirements, and Deloitte technology and delivery standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

  • Experience developing native iOS applications for production environments.

  • Strong proficiency in Swift and familiarity with Objective-C.

  • Hands-on experience with Xcode, iOS SDK, UIKit, and SwiftUI.

  • Knowledge of iOS application architecture and design patterns.

  • Experience integrating REST APIs, JSON, networking libraries, and third-party services.

  • Understanding of memory management, concurrency, multithreading, and application performance optimization.

  • Experience with Git or other source-control systems.

  • Knowledge of unit testing and UI automation frameworks such as XCTest and XCUITest.

  • Familiarity with Agile software development and Scrum methodologies.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
