: Senior / Lead MOVEit Engineer

Supporting Technologies: Windows Server, MS SQL Server, SFTP/FTPS/HTTPS, SSH, TLS/SSL, Active Directory/LDAP, Networking, PowerShell
Focus: Tier 3 Production Support, Engineering, Troubleshooting, Automation, Performance, Security, and Platform 

The engineer will be responsible for resolving complex file-transfer issues, maintaining platform stability and performance, supporting upgrades and integrations, and driving root-cause analysis and permanent remediation of production issues.
Key Responsibilities
MOVEit Platform Engineering

• Provide Tier 3 technical support for enterprise MOVEit Transfer and MOVEit Automation environments.
• Troubleshoot complex file-transfer failures, delayed transfers, connectivity issues, authentication failures, and application errors.
• Analyze MOVEit application logs, transfer history, audit logs, and system events to identify root cause.
• Configure and maintain MOVEit users, mailboxes, folders, permissions, workflows, policies, and transfer configurations.
• Support SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS and other enterprise file-transfer protocols.
• Troubleshoot SSH keys, TLS/SSL certificates, authentication, authorization, and connectivity issues.
• Perform MOVEit upgrades, patches, configuration changes, and security remediation.
• Support platform capacity planning, performance tuning, and operational stability.
• Support high-availability, disaster-recovery, backup, and recovery activities.
• Work with MOVEit vendor support for complex product defects and escalations.
• Troubleshoot integrations between MOVEit and internal/external applications.
• Work with application, network, security, infrastructure, and database teams to resolve end-to-end transfer issues.
• Troubleshoot firewall, DNS, routing, port, proxy, load-balancer, and connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot external client connectivity and file-transfer onboarding issues.

Required Technical Skills

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise Managed File Transfer technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Progress MOVEit.
• Strong understanding of MOVEit Transfer and/or MOVEit Automation.
• Advanced troubleshooting experience in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of:

• Digital certificates
• SSH host keys
• Authentication and authorization
• DNS and networking
• Firewall and port connectivity
• Experience with Windows Server environments.
• Experience with MYSQL/MSSQL supporting enterprise applications.
• Experience with monitoring and log-analysis tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or equivalent.
