The Role • Define and enforce cybersecurity principles, standards, and design patterns for secure product and enterprise tool development. • Lead working groups to drive the definition of cybersecurity guidelines across architecture and engineering teams. • Develop secure design patterns and architectural guidelines for adoption by engineering teams. • Conduct complex analysis of security risks and propose innovative, effective solutions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and efficient release processes. • Engage with business and engineering teams to define guardrails that promote seamless adoption of secure design patterns. • Participate in incident response to identify design gaps and propose preventative measures. • Research and evaluate emerging security trends, threats, and technologies, recommending appropriate solutions. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Minimum of 4 years of dedicated cybersecurity experience. • Practical expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and services, as well as on-premises infrastructure. • Strong knowledge of current cybersecurity and technology architectures (e.g., zero trust, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, virtualization, containerization). • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., ISO 27000, NIST, FFIEC) and relevant regulations. • Ability to articulate cybersecurity policies and procedures effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Experience with Agile methodologies and deploying solutions in large organizations.
