About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer (Technical Lead) to lead application sustainment, enhancement, and support activities for a suite of mission-critical engineering applications operating within a highly secure environment.
This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who enjoys solving complex technical issues, driving application improvements, and ensuring the ongoing reliability, security, and compliance of enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Level 3 and Level 4 application support activities, including code-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Design and deliver major application enhancements within a structured Waterfall development methodology.
- Maintain application security accreditation and configuration in line with Information Security Manual (ISM) requirements.
- Coordinate end-to-end software releases, ensuring appropriate testing, approval, and deployment controls are followed.
- Manage high-priority incidents and provide timely resolution of critical production issues.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, including architecture and system design artefacts.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance across application lifecycle activities.
- Strong expertise in .NET Framework, .NET Core, and C# development.
- Extensive experience supporting and developing enterprise applications in Microsoft technology environments.
- Strong knowledge of IIS and Windows Server-based web application hosting.
- Proven experience across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Demonstrated experience working within structured Waterfall delivery frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience supporting business-critical systems in secure or regulated environments.
- Active AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance is essential.
- Ability to work full-time onsite in Laverton, Melbourne.
- Australian Citizenship required due to the security-cleared nature of the environment.
